Welcome to a Brand New Year & a Brand New Magazine. In the Entertainment world 2008 is shaping up nicely. With the decline of CD & record sales bands and artists are now looking more towards performing live & touring more so than ever before and this is great news for everyone. Since the creation of digital downloads it has been easier and cheaper to access all kinds of music. Only just recently some of the major record labels have resigned to the fact that downloading of digital media is the future. As a result of this major bands and shows will look towards performing live heavily as apposed to sitting back and reaping the rewards of music sales. This will be a gradual change but you will find a better class of act touring in the Westcountry with more dates and more emphasis on the production and quality of live performances.

This edition of ‘That’s Entertainment’ features the return to the Westcountry of the Sugababes, Newton Faulkner, Natasha Bedingfield, Chris Rea, Kelly Clarkson & The Editors. In Theatre land the Princess Theatre is once again hosting a fantastic array of shows from Bjorn Again, La Traviata, Soweto Gospel Choir, The Nutcracker & Elvis On Tour.
