Over the last couple of years or so the UK has been gripped with an influx of talent shows that have seen ratings sore on TV and headlines in National newspapers to match. It is an excellent way to unleash that ‘Star’ in you that you sometimes never knew was there! Appleby’s – situated on Sheddon Hill, Torquay are proud to announce their own talent contest called “Has Torbay Got Talent?”

The contest will commence on Thursday 11th September. The competition will be running every Thursday for the following 6 months. One of the great things about this particular contest is that up until the quarter finals, everyone that attends in the audience has the chance to vote – which is a truly positive thing and means that everyone can get involved. There will then be some star judges from the quarter finals onwards and in further editions of That’s Entertainment Magazine we will talk about this in more detail.

It is free to enter and application forms are available from Appleby’s bar. The rules are simple – Anybody can enter as long as they do not earn an income solely from performing.
