From The Editor

Welcome to the August / September issue of That's Entertainment. I hope this magazine finds you well. As you can see from this bumper edition there is lots to do & enjoy.

Don’t be disheartened by the erratic weather that we are having – there is always plenty to do in South Devon. There is a wonderful exhibition of Titanic memorabilia at Torquay Museum & there is live snooker at Plymouth Pavilions with World Class players like Ronnie O’Sullivan & Stephen Hendry.amie

This month’s Palm FM presenter profile is the new breakfast presenter, Ben Moseby. This month’s music features include exclusive interviews with Andy Powell from Wishbone Ash and Mark King from Level 42. Theatreland is as vibrant as always with the most comprehensive theatre listings in the South West featuring all the shows at the Princess Theatre, Torquay. For classical music lovers we have features on classical concerts including the highly acclaimed The Night of the Proms. At the back of the magazine you will find the largest live entertainment and music guide, from Karaoke to top tribute bands.

As always a very special thank you to all of the advertisers that support this magazine. A big thank you also to Mark King, Andy Powell, Colin Leslie, Keith Hathaway for the fantastic photographs and Emma for her priceless work behind the scenes, none of this would be possible without you.

It is important to remember that these are economically & morally challenging times and most of the headlines in the local press are negative beyond disbelief – for those of you that are on holiday in South Devon and for those who live here remember that there are good people and we all take for granted that we live in one of the most beautiful places in the world. After all life is what you make it and this magazine proves that there are some wonderful ways for all of us to enjoy our lives.

Today is a great day to help another person.

Stay safe & enjoy

Jamie
